Behind the Brand Part 2: An Interview with Rebecca Elms

It’s been a minute since we last caught up with owner Rebecca Elms! So, we decided to take five and talk a little more about her love for interior styling, the Surry Hills community and all things wellness. You recently completed a massive renovation of your terrace home in Redfern, which you’ve since sold. Tell us what it was like to manage the entire project from start to finish!   I loved it! It's something that I had dreamt about doing for a long time. It was a huge project that spanned over 12 months, but in saying that, we had support from a great builder. I loved the process of choosing all of the finishes and working with our builder....

7 Tips for a Non-Toxic Home

We love it when a new year rolls around. It's a chance to clean out the cobwebs and start fresh. This year, make a resolution to re-evaluate a few potentially toxic habits around your home. I finished advanced art in high school, went straight to TAFE and worked two jobs while completing my Certificate in Visual Arts before moving to Canberra to complete my degree in Visual Arts at the Australian National University. Can you tell us about your process? I developed the processes that I still use today while studying painting, life drawing & art history at...

Meet the Artist: 5 Minutes with Georgie Wilson

When did you decide to take the leap and become an artist? I was on mat leave with my second baby and I had time to think about what I’d really like to do. I really wasn’t loving my current job and was dreading going back! I’d painted before as part of my design work, but I really wanted to see if I could make a go of it and it seemed the perfect time to try. And the rest is history! Now I love what I’m doing every single day. Can you tell us about your process? My design background sort of dictated that I create my concepts digitally, so I find myself ‘collecting’ tons of textures, colours, inspo and...
